FOX @ BRANSON ----- JULY 2003 UPDATE

Hi All---here's hoping you're having a great and active summer. We certainly are. Our mid-May trip west to visit my brother in Montana, then a visit to the Black Hills and the Daniels turned out just superb. South Dakota deserves all the praise the travel industry is giving it. Dinner with the Spencer's in Madison on the return was very enjoyable. June 29 we spent in West Virginia helping the Ray's celebrate their 50th. Shortly we'll be heading to the Ann Arbor Art Fair along with 200,000 others to again experience that event. Other than that, lots of golf and other activities keeping both of us pretty busy. Any retiree that thinks retirement is boring has a severe problem.

Our Branson crew remains Cadden, Ferguson, Holman, Hufford, Kontowicz, Lane, Page, Pincin, Rainboth, Ray, Richards, Schneider, Spears, Spencer. Hopefuls are Hontz, Hickey, and West, health permitting. Here's to their successful recovery. George Chandler and Bertha Holly sent their regrets. Mark Hickey is finished with radiation, about to get off crutches, and is feeling good. Marv has a voice , is progressing, and plans to be there.

Interesting comment in the May Rochester Newsletter just received about the OI/K Division reunions. As Fox Division has been having alternate year reunions since 1995 wonder if they top our performance? And can anyone guess who our 3 Foxmates are who have attended every Fox/Rochester reunion (excepting L.V. 2000 which no Fox attended)? A prize for the correct answer.

If those on-line haven't already checked it out, the Rochester website has been revised and it is really neat. And because of our activity we now have a separate section just for the Fox Division. Check it out. Thanks to webmaster Joe West II, and to Fergie for supplying all those fabulous Fox photos.

Be aware this reunion is totally casual. And be sure to wear your nametags as Branson definitely caters to  military groups.

If anyone has not yet received the Show guide let me know so we can get one to you. Remember you're on your own for the shows and events you wish to attend except stay free for our Showboat finale beginning at 1515 Wednesday.

Two attendees have not yet paid their 2003 dues. If you want to participate in the Showboat discount we're considering, get those dues into Carl at his Barboursville address soon.

Sheri has 4 couples signed up for the Train Ride. Contact her quickly if you'd like to join them for this Tuesday morning excursion. Cost is $21.33 per person using Sheri's AAA discount. That's the train ride only, food additional. You'll owe Sheri directly as she's providing the required advance payment.

Unless something unusual occurs this will be the last group info mailing before Branson arrival. As always give me a call by phone, e-mail or whatever if you have any questions, comments, etc.

See you all shortly,
