OR Division.......

The pictures below are of the Rochester OR Division Radiomen who made the last USS Rochester WesPac Cruise in 1960. We carried COMCRUDIV 1 on the cruise and handled a significant amount of ship+COMCRUDIV 1 message traffic. Our contributions during the cruise won the USS Rochester the Communications Efficiency E. Following the cruise some of us went to other duty stations, were discharged, or were assigned to the Bremerton Decommissioning Crew. A few of us have been corresponding over the years and have attended Division Reunions in 2001 and 2004. The first Division Reunion was held in Laughlin Nevada in 2001 and the second Division Reunion was held in Las Vegas in 2004.  Pictures are former Radiomen and their wives.
