Logo...

"The ship's logo was designed by FT1 Jack E. Beldon, and first published in March 1958 on the cover of the 1957-58 Rochester Cruise Book.  The triangle and three chain links symbolize the three ships of Cruiser Division Five: Los Angeles (CA-135), Roanoke (CL-145), and Rochester (CA-124)."
