Vincent Amodeo...
"Enclosed please find the
obituary for my father, Vincent Amodeo, who passed away October 24,
2006. He was waked and buried in his Naval Uniform per his wishes. He
had military honors, was buried in a vault with a Naval Seal on it, and
a ride less horse led the procession to the cemetery to symbolize a
"fallen soldier". Participating in ship reunions was so important to
him. We are grateful this was a part of his life. He had not been able
to participate for the past few years due to illness. My mother Frances
still lives in West Hartford at Apt 231, 1 Hamilton Heights, West
Hartford, CT 06119."
